June 1, 2015 was a historic day for the IAHS-CT. It was on this day that we established the Italian-American Historical Society Endowed Scholarship with Southern Connecticut State University.
The scholarship will be awarded to SCSU students majoring or minoring in Italian who have maintained a certain grade point average in their studies. It was important for the IAHS-CT to give back to the SCSU community, as we hold our Board of Directors meetings on Southern’s campus. The establishment of the endowed scholarship allows our financial gifts to continue in perpetuity to SCSU students.
